Highest recognition as the 'Best Climate Protection Measure' for the climate protection and sustainability initiative of Andechser Molkerei Scheitz: On 23 November 2021 in Berlin, it received the new 'Best Climate Protection Measure' award, which was presented to companies in Germany for the first time. The 'German Environmental Management Award 2021' was presented by the Federal Environment Minister Svenja Schulze at the conference "Sustainable Corporate Governance and Transparency through Environmental and Climate Management" on 23 November 2021 at the Federal Environment Ministry in Berlin. The 'Best Climate Protection Measure' criteria included "all measures and projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in order to improve the carbon footprint of processes, products and services". There were 13 nominations from 78 applications - and the activities of Andechser Molkerei Scheitz impressed the jury chaired by Dr Marianne Schönnenbeck.
